Where Can I Serve?

Giving God our Best

Our volunteers are the backbone of our ministry. This handful of truly selfless and dedicated individuals are what make everything possible. We all take pride in our church and truly love one another and do all that we can to ensure God's word goes out. If you feel called to serve in some capacity reach out to our leadership and see where you would be a good fit. There is always a need in just about every area of ministry and we do truly appreciate all of those who answer the calling to serve in ministry.

There is nothing more important to the family and the church than children. Children’s ministry is the backbone of existence. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to train our children in the ways they should go. There is nothing more fulfilling than having an impact in a young child’s life for Jesus Christ. CTC is almost always in need of great passionate parents and mentors to serve in this area.

The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. Still others get involved in drama. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons will be uploaded to our website in different formats. We also maintain an active Facebook and Instagram feed for additional church communication.

CTC believes in providing a welcoming facility that represents our ministry and our Lord and Savior with an atmosphere of fellowship. If you are skilled in cleaning, letter writing, buying gifts, greeter’s or refilling coffee pots than you would enjoy doing all of the little things that truly make CTC function on a weekly basis.

Calvary Temple Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in supporting missionaries through funding and prayer. We currently help sponsor multiple families who are serving on the mission field around the world. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.
